Dear American press, Islam and Anti-Semitics...

Dear American press, Islam and all anti-Semitics...

Rebirth directly addresses the Palestinian issues of today and I've gotten flack for it's accuracy when I wrote about the Jewish fairness of how the Jews invited ALL local Arabs in 1948, who wanted to be Israeli citizens and live in peace and enjoy equal citizenship; Below is what I just added on the last page of Rebirth, now available on Amazon in both paperback and Kindle as well as Nook, iPad etc... http://www.amazon.com/Rebirth-Dave-Longeuay/dp/0983905800/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1335638199&sr=8-1

Did the Jews really invite thousands of Arab residents to become Israeli citizens?

“The Arab states which had encouraged the Palestine Arabs to leave their homes temporarily in order to be out of the way of the Arab invasion armies, have failed to keep their promise to help these refugees.”
—The Jordanian daily newspaper Falastin, February 19, 1949

“The mass evacuation, prompted partly by fear, partly by order of the Arab leaders, left the Arab quarter of Haifa a ghost city…. By withdrawing Arab workers they hoped to paralyze Haifa.”
—Time Magazine, May 3, 1948 page 25

“The Arabs of Haifa fled in spite of the fact that the Jewish authorities guaranteed their safety and rights as citizens of Israel.”
—Monsignor George Hakim, Greek Catholic Bishop of Galilee

‘It was clearly intimated by the Arab-Palestinian Higher Executive that Arabs who remained in Haifa and accepted Jewish protection would be regarded as renegades.”
—London Economist October 2, 1948

If these sources are true, and Jews invited Arabs to be citizens, then Arab population in Israel would be significant today. So how many Arab-Israeli citizens reside in Israel today?

Over 1.5 million: more than 20% of Israel’s population are Arabs.

Arabs serving in the Israeli forces?

Ahh...Did I say there was proof about Rebirth's documentation concerning Arabs being invited to join Israel as equal citizens in 1948?

Here's another story that you'll never hear from our press!

Arab from Jerusalem Is Outstanding IDF Soldier

by dailyalert

(Yehuda Schlesinger -  Israel Hayom-Hebrew, 19Apr2012)
"S," an Arab from eastern Jerusalem, is one of the outstanding IDF soldiers who will be recognized at this year's Israel Independence Day ceremony at the President's residence.
"First of all, I'm an Israeli," he says. "For me, to continue to serve in the IDF is a dream."
"When I enlisted it was like I was reborn. Many possibilities opened up."
Two of his brothers have also decided to enlist.

Holocaust Remembrance Day

We must remember!

Holocaust Remembrance Day – 2012

by dailyalert

(Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu - Prime Minister's Office)
  • Our enemies tried to bury the Jewish future, but it was reborn in the land of our forefathers. On this day, when our entire nation gathers together to remember the horrors of the Holocaust and the six million Jews who were murdered, we must fulfill our most sacred obligation.
  • This obligation is not merely just to remember the past. It is an obligation to learn its lessons, and, most importantly, to apply them to the present in order to secure the future of our people. This is especially true for this generation - one that is faced with calls to annihilate the Jewish state.
  • Today, the regime in Iran openly calls for our destruction. And it is feverishly working to develop atomic weapons to achieve that goal.
  • There are those who prefer that we not speak of a nuclear Iran as an existential threat. But those who dismiss Iran's threats as exaggerated have learned nothing from the Holocaust.
  • To cower from speaking the uncomfortable truth - that today, like then, there are those who want to destroy millions of Jewish people - is to belittle the Holocaust and ignore its lessons.
  • The truth is that a nuclear-armed Iran is an existential threat to the State of Israel and a grave threat to world peace. The truth is that Iran must be stopped from obtaining nuclear weapons.

A unique way to support Israel is with education and telling others that we need to support peace in the Middle East! www.rebirthofisrael.com

Arabs who fit in Israel

Just to prove Rebirth's claim that Jews invited Arabs to be equal citizens of Israel at it's conception:

Female Arab Singer Captures Israeli Hearts Performing Jewish Songs in TV Contest

by dailyalert

A young Arab woman, Nissren Kader, 25, recently won first place in a popular Israeli music competition for the best performer of Mizrahi songs, the musical tradition of Middle Eastern Jews. By singing beautifully in Hebrew, she charmed her audience. "I am so proud: I'm the first Arab to win a Hebrew singing program," said Kader, who is from Haifa. Moshe Alfassi, an Israeli of Moroccan descent, said he found it strange to see an Arab woman singing Mizrahi music, but like many other Israelis, was quickly won over by her voice.
Her victory is part of a small but growing trend of Arab artists and entertainers rising to prominence. One of the country's most popular sitcoms is a comedic satire about an Israeli-Arab journalist trying to fit into Jewish society , written by Sayed Kashua, an Arab writer. All but one of Israel's soccer league teams have Arab players, including the season's top scorer, Ahmed Saba. (Diaa Hadid - AP)

Time running out for Nazi witnesses to confess...

Book Urges Germans to Quiz Dying Nazi Generation

by dailyalert

Germany's Nazi past has remained a taboo subject in millions of family homes - with children and grandchildren declining to press their elders on what they did in the war. At least 20 to 25 million Germans knew about the Holocaust while it was happening, and some 10 million fought on the Eastern Front in a war of annihilation that targeted civilians from the start. That, says German historian Moritz Pfeiffer, makes the genocide and the crimes against humanity a part of family history.
Time is running out. The answer to how a cultured, civilized nation stooped so low, lies in the minds of the dying Third Reich generation, many of whom are ready and willing to talk at the end of their lives, says Pfeiffer, 29, a historian at a museum on the SS at Wewelsburg Castle. He has just completed an unprecedented research project based on his own family. "Towards the end of one's life the distance to the events is so great that people are ready to give testimony....Now the problem is that no one is listening to that generation anymore."
My Grandfather in the War 1939-1945, Pfeiffer said, unquestioningly followed Hitler, failed to own up to its guilt in the immediate aftermath of the war and, more than six decades on, remains unable to express personal remorse for the civilian casualties of Hitler's war, let alone for the Holocaust. (David Crossland - Der Spiegel-Germany)
Most Jews I know and have read about want the holocaust to be remembered so it will never happen again. If you don't think it can ever happen again in our modern society, then you haven't been reading about Iran's president among others...

From Israel's founding father

Israel’s first Prime Minister David Ben Gurion spoke: "300 years ago, there came to the New World a boat, and its name was the Mayflower. The Mayflower’s landing on Plymouth Rock was one of the great historical events in the history of England and America. But I would like to ask any Englishman sitting here on the commission, what date did the Mayflower leave port? How many people were on the boat? Who were their leaders?

More than 3,300 years ago, long before the Mayflower, our people left Egypt, and every Jew in the world, wherever he is, knows what day they left. And he knows what food they ate. And we still eat that food with every anniversary. And we know who our leader was. We sit down and tell the story to our children and grandchildren in order to guarantee that it will never be forgotten. And we say our two slogans: ‘Now we may be enslaved, but next year, we’ll be a free people.’ . . . Now we are in the prison of the Soviet Union. Now, we’re in Germany where Hitler is destroying us. Now we’re scattered throughout the world, but next year, we’ll be in Jerusalem.

There’ll come a day that we’ll come home to Zion, to the Land of Israel. That is the nature of the Jewish people." From the Israel365 Haggadah “This Year in Jerusalem.”
